Following or attached is another independent critique of the ASK system-building ecology, produced by a separate fresh-context thread.

The critique may cover:

Read this synthesis against the ASK inheritable identity/design layer — personal-ASK/inheritable (brand architecture, voice/style/typography, visual identity, context-architecture decisions), or the mounted/uploaded equivalents. This layer is both the conformance authority (brand · tier-model · voice · visual identity · naming grammar · context architecture) and a scoped critique target: as of 2026-06-27 the whole inheritable/ layer is dual-writer, so every file in personal-ASK/inheritable/ is a valid critique target. Do not discard findings against any inheritable file as "out of target" — carry them through synthesis (execution still gated on ASK approval + the dual-writer controls; the ADR additionally syncs its personal-TMK twin). Two axes — valid critique target ≠ downstream-conformance target: a file being in inheritable/ makes it a valid critique target, not automatically ecology-consumed (the explicitly-named downstream-read / conformance subset — ADR · brand-architecture.md · visual-identity-system.md · voice-style-typography.md by default; others only when a source names the relationship). Do not synthesize a non-consumed file's internal-coherence finding into a downstream-conformance obligation. The private layer outside personal-ASK/inheritable/ stays out of scope.

Read it also in the context of the current operator-side source-of-intent canonicals — the Source of Intent master (ecology-ASK-EXTERNAL/source-of-intent_master-context-note.md) and its Image-Making + Source of Intent branch (ecology-ASK-EXTERNAL/image-making-source-of-intent_master-context-note.md), or their mounted/uploaded mirrors. Use them as evidence, synthesis, and domain-branch context for source-of-intent / authorship / governance and second-lens findings, not as a competing public-doctrine surface. For public method claims, the graduated owners are method-ASK/docs/normative-apex.md, docs/governance.md, docs/source-of-intent.md, docs/bounded-generativity.md, and examples/image-making-source-of-intent.md.

Synthesize also against the operator-side propagation + publication trackers that fed the critiques: the Substack / workflow article tracker (root-canonical ecology-ASK-EXTERNAL/workflow-substacks_master-tracker.md) for publication- and reception-state drift, and the design-system-ASK operator-side consumer ledger (ecology-ASK-EXTERNAL/design-system-ASK_consumer-ledger.md) for the local / private / firewalled consumer propagation map that public CONSUMERS.md does not carry. Context for the synthesis, not synthesis targets.

Also fold in the current operator-side ecology diagram packages at the ecology-ASK-EXTERNAL/ root — system-ASK-topology/ (D03, topology / ontology / IA) and ecology-ASK-inheritance-permissions/ (D04, the wall + grant boundary · consumer-scope inheritance classes · direct-vs--TBI). Illustrative operator-side topology artifacts: synthesis + relationship-scope context, not repo truth and not automatic doctrine; their VERSION.md files carry current render/content status; read them live rather than pinning a version tuple in this prompt. Canonical prose wins on disagreement. If the D03/D04 package files are unavailable in a given surface, state that limitation explicitly and do not claim to have reviewed their rendered language.

  1. Consider and fold it into your above critique.
  2. Make an advisory plan to address the issues that survive synthesis.

Carry through any second-lens findings. If either critique surfaced relationship-scope / language-governance observations — terms that mis-scope a relationship or silently flatten a distinction — fold them into the synthesis at that altitude; do not drop them as wording nits. Preserve each with its decision owner (executor wording fix · advisor-review issue · ASK source-of-intent call).

Keep the synthesis open-ended. Do not convert it into a structured checklist unless ASK explicitly asks.

Delivery

Open with a By: line stating who produced this synthesis (e.g. By: claude-code), in both the reply and the saved file — the <source> token is required so a Claude synthesis and an advisor synthesis can be told apart. This <source> token is a critique-cycle disambiguator, not a default model/source suffix for handoffs or other artifact classes.

Deliver the synthesis (the folded critique + advisory plan) in two forms:

  1. In reply — the full synthesis inline in your response.
  2. As a saved Markdown artifact — the same synthesis as a standalone .md file:
    • If you can write files (a file-capable executor, e.g. Claude Code): save it into the ecology operator-side scratch, ecology-ASK-EXTERNAL/scratch/.
    • If you cannot save directly (a save-blocked advisor): emit it as a downloadable .md file, same filename, for the operator to place there.

Name the file per the protocol below (consistent with ASK's file-naming conventions in the context-architecture ADR every surface carries in context):

YYYY-MM-DD_ecology-ASK_ecology-critique-synthesis-<source>[-rN].md

  • <source> — claude-code / advisor-gpt / advisor-claude.
  • example: 2026-06-07_ecology-ASK_ecology-critique-synthesis-claude-code.md
